"Background" box and more...

Hi all! Today I have a couple "gifty" things to show you, ones I have made for a couple of my daughters Baby shower prizes. First up is a box made from a file from The Cutting Cafe: Divider box with handles--I did adjust the handle over a bit, as it was meant to be in the middle-but I couldn't get the items I have to fit that way. I also added a front, using another file from The Cutting Cafe: Fabulous . The Thank You is also from a The Cutting Cafe file-All Occasion Circle Word Set 1-and worked perfectly here.
I also then added the little brads in the corners and a flower at the top--a couple ribbons, and ta-da it is done!
The next little bags, I made using a tutorial found on  the internet-and two different files from The Cutting Cafe-the Thank You is from All Occasion Circle Word Set 1 and the cute little bow is from Bow Tie and Ribbon template

Well, thanks for stopping by today!! Have a great week!

CUTE...

I have a card today to share with you-I have used this adorable little image available over at Squigglefly: Dragonfly Gaze by artist Diane Carubia.
I just had to try coloring up her hair red--I almost ALWAYS go with blonde, but this one shouted red to me. I paper pieced the bunny and the dragonfly. I  tried my hand once again at paper Piercing,(you can see it better if you click the picture to make it bigger) which is the challenge this week-and there is plenty time to enter your paper piercing, over at the Squigglefly Challenge Blog !!
I also added a bow that is a cutting file available over at The Cutting Cafe-(Bow Tie and Ribbon template) how cute is that? It comes in several sizes-and I even made this one smaller-so it is perfect for gift boxes too!! Check it out HERE, and then make sure to check out all the DT projects later today-HERE for lots more inspiration!
Thanks for stopping by today-Rhonda

A new Squigglefly Challenge-Paper Piercing

Hi!
I found out something---I am really horrible at my own challenge! I picked Paper Piercing--and totally flunked out! I used the adorable new image available over at Squigglefly called Sweet Country Bunny by artist Denise Clemmensen. I tried to paper pierce--and then when the piercing didn't show up very well, I went over the piercings with my white gel pen. So now they really don't even look like piercings! You will have to trust me though, they really are there!
There are some really fantastic new images available--so run on over and check them out--and lets see how YOUR PAPER PIERCING LOOKS!! (way better than mine, I can assure you of that!) I hope to get the chance in the middle of the week to try again! Hope to see you then!

FRESH BREWED BLOG HOP AND BLOG CANDY

Welcome to the July Fresh Brewed Designs Three Day HOT Blog Hop! If you are getting here from the lovely and VERY talented VANESSA's blog then you are right on track. If you are just finding your way to our super HOT,  fun filled, extra caffeinated, and mega sassy blog hop, then please start at the beginning here: Freshly Brewed Challenges.

The Fresh Brewed Designs Team and Guests have put together an exciting and oh so HOT  blog hop TODAY and ALL THIS WEEKEND featuring handmade cards inspired by our new released Rubber Stamps. Now you may be thinking, I have seen these before. Why, yes! Yes you have!!!  But not like this!!! They have all been carefully  re-sized. They are approximately 1/2 inch smaller than the original stamp, but just as sassy and hot as ever!  For you, this means that more of your card will be visible so you can add your layers, embellies, use your nesties and all of that other fun stuff just a bit easier than before. The larger size is still available and still wonderful ... but now you have the option to choose which size works best for your stamping style!
All re-sized stamps are available cling mounted on 1/8 inch cling foam to use with your acrylic blocks or un-moutned. All of Fresh Brewed Designs stamps are made in the USA with deeply etched red rubber so you get a perfect impression every time!

For my card I chose to create with: Caution Contents Hot-such a fun and sassy stamp!

I used:
Designer papers from Basic Greys June Bug Paper Pad.
I colored her up with my Copics.
I added a few flowers, buttons, and twine from my stash.
The sentiment is from SU-All Holidays set.
The sentiment banner is from the Build a Banner Kit Dies and Stamps from My Creative Time.

go HERE for special deals on these stamps!

My Mothers Day gift...

Well, I don't have a card to show you at this time-but wanted to share a photo of my Mothers Day gift this year. When it arrived, it looked half dead, so I was skeptical if it would even make it-but look how well it is doing, it is so pretty!! It is a Double Knock out Pink Rose Tree-or something similar to that.
Have a great day!

Squigglefly Baby card set

Hi all! Did you have a great day yesterday? We didn't do much-it was too hot outside. I did get my daughters baby invites done, and speaking of baby cards... that is what I have to share with you today too. I have used NEW BABY, which is a digi image available over at SQUIGGLEFLY-and is by artist Louise Gardner.
I have cut out the cute images (which come with a sentiment that says New Baby) and paper pieced the diapers so that there is a girl and a boy card. I used my SU stamp set: Just B for the sentiment. I think they turned out very cute-what do you think?
****I also wanted to let you know that there is time yet to enter the Squigglefly challenge---and since the last two weeks the entries have not used Squigglefly images, this week the winner ( picked out of all those using Squigglefly images) will win THREE images!! How fun is that!!?!!
The challenge is: Summer Color-so hurry on over there and enter using your Squigglefly images---don't have any? There are many freebies to pick from, and those count too!!!****
