dare you to digi stamp challenge card

Hello! the card I have to show you today I tried a new technique for me,(crystal effects-guess I really should have used a paintbrush like the directions said instead of trying to improvise with a q-tip!) and as you can see I need more practise -but thought I would show it anyways. I made this card for the dare u 2 digi stamp challenge (found here)which this week is -"things with wings". So, I have used my little duckie,as he has wings! You can find this adorable little guy over at Squigglefly (found here)he is called "Rainy day duckling-Jacob"

quick birthday card

just a quick birthday card I made for one of Emily's classmates. She went to an awesome birthday party today-they had a magician and scavenger hunt-played twister and bingo and made sand jars-the ones with the different colors of sand all layered up!!! Wowzers! Emily's birthday is in about two and a half weeks-better get started on the planning-huh?!!!image can be found on this site here

the sunflower card was found here but I din't use the window sheets, we put ours through the big shot with the dots embossing folder for a look quite similar.

dare you to digi stamp challenge card

Hi Yall!!! Over at dare you to digi stamp (found HERE) they are having a challenge and it is PINK AND GREEN-I think this card for sure fits that description!! You are allowed to use a digi stamp from any provider so of course I have used one from SQUIGGLEFLY-it is called "PIGGY LOVE" and can be found HERE. I have used papers from the TWO SCOOPS paper pad, and SU cardstock. I have colored white flowers using my SU inks and a sponge. Sentiment was done on the computer and went over with a SU marker-as my computer is out of colored ink!!! : )

Images I colored with copics. I added a few stickles and oh yeah, I cut out the scrolls and the oval out with my bigshot and sizix dies, and also used a couple of my SU punches.

Don't forget to purchase the "one a day in May" ahead of time for a wonderful surprise image to be sent to you everyday in May--and see my previous post for an extra sweet deal too!!!

All right-not really me.... but this baby girl is so excited to be riding a horsie!!! I have done a card using several different images! First we have the rocking horse which is a new image available over at Squigglefly in a whole set!!!! This set is awesome and versatile!! Go here to check it out!!!! DONT FORGET TO GET IN ON THE "ONE A DAY IN MAY" and see my previous post for even another SWEET deal!! I just know you are gonna be kicking yourself later if you don't get in on this! I am so excited to see all these new images....a new one emailed to ya everyday in May---how cool is that!!!! What a thrill to come home each day and have a new surpise to look forward to! I have also used the baby-which actually is from a stamp set available from Pink Cat studio found here . I simply cut out the baby-(the baby was actually on a cute little giraffe in the stamp) and placed her on the gorgeous rocking horse instead!

I have used Su cardstock in pink pirouette and the ds paper is from Nana's Nursery-Baby girl stack. I have used a Martha Steward punch and embossed in my cuddlebug. The sentiment also came with the sweetpeaplate set and I jsut punched it with my SU punch and two more SU punches made the layered effect. Colored images in with Copics and SU markers. Added ribbon from my stash. Hope you like it!

Birthday card for my daughter Brittany

I can't beleive that time has flown by so rapidly!!! It makes me sad that today is my oldest daughters 20th birthday! I mean it does and it doesn't-ya know? I just can't believe that she is so grown up already! She just told me today-(with such excitement!!) that she thinks her and her dorm mate have found an ampartment to rent, so they don't have to live in the dorms again next year. So she may be moving there in a couple of weeks-and live there through the summer too! : ( On the other hand - I am so excited for her!!! Oh boy, I see some decorating purchases coming up! Here is the card I have made her-and it's not very Birthday-ish, but it seems her dreams are coming true... so I thought it fit... Thanks for visiting-didn't mean to sound pouty! : ) I am going to her college and picking her and her dormmate up tonight to take them to dinner for her birthday-Chelsie is going too, and we are going to La Senorita-YUM!

My daughters' scholorship pageant

Hi Ya'll-I haven't had the time to make any cards today, as we were busy all day with running and going to my daughters scholarship pageant! She did an absolute AWESOME job, and I am so very proud of her!!!! Here is a pic of her in her gown.

The theme was "A NIGHT ON THE NILE" and they did an Egyptian dance-her speech was on breast Cancer-and her talent turned out awesome!

EVERYTHING IS BLOOMING!!

Well, it actually isn't here yet-but my card is!!! I got some new stamps the other day-this set is actually even called "everything is blooming"!! Isn't she adorable?!!! I have used SU ds papers from the Simply Scrappin set called "Sunshine garden"- and the self adhesive die cut button is from the same set-I have just added some stickles to it! I colored this gorgeous little gal with my copics. Hope you like her!

HOWDY!!!

I just adore this little stamp set I just got the other day! It is part of the Sweet Pea stamps collection by Pink cat Studio-which I had seen over on Nikki's blog-http://bunny-zoes.blogspot.com/ . One of my brothers and his wife are big horse people-so this little stamp is just perfect to do some pages for their little boys scrapbook!!!! I couldn't resist making a card with it too though! I have used SU papers and the sentiment is from the SU set "A little something"!! I thought it went perfect as it just has that look to it as being kinda cowboyish!! Hope you like it!

Messy Rabbit spoon full of sugar challenge card

Todays card I have made using this weeks Challenge for A spoon full of sugar which said:

**For our Challenge this week we would like to see you create a card or project using Die cuts or Punches.**

So, I have punched and die-cut!!!! I have used my Su scallop circle punch, scallop punch, circle punches, and butterfly die-cuts!! Also, I used used my nestabilities! The DS papers I have used today are from SU-most of them from the tea party set! I have used a half pearl, brads and flowers from the pretties set (SU), and colored the flowers with the Almost Amethyst ink (I did this with a sponge)-to match the papers and sentiment.

The stamp is a new one that just arrived today!!! Isn't that the cutest bunny-it is from Joanna sheen-and is a Messy Rabbit stamp! Thanks goes out to NESSY who told me where to find her!!!

I started this card so many days ago, I do not remember where the black/gray paper is from! There is also some SU papers used, and the sentiment is from an SU stamp set also(pocket silhouettes)! Other embellishments and ribbon from my stash.

Spring and a turtle

HIYa!!! I am soooo tired of winter and the cold!! I decided I needed to make a really spring like card and maybe then it will get here! I have used Tommy the turlte-that is what I re-named him the last time I used him anyways, but I guess I better make (her) Tina the turtle this time - since I have gave her girly toenails!!!! "Chocolate" ATC

I haven't made an atc for a long time-so today I decided to join up with the tilda and friends challenge. ( go here: http://tildaandfriends.blogspot.com/) Their doing "Chocolate" this week-so I have made my tilda all up with a chocolate heart and yummy chocolate paper!! the paper was from the Sweet stack-and it is by dcwv--lots of gorgeous papers inside!!!! Since it is almost Easter-I couldn't resist putting a couple little chicks by her feet. These little creations are lots of fun-but tiny!!! I have used the little stamp "be happy" from my su collection it is called Darling Dots.

WOW!!! It is finally here-the day we have been so anxious about! What is this all about you may ask-well let me fill you in!
