Totally too late!

Well, I had the best of intentions yesterday to enter Emma's Throwback challenge--I knew I had only till midnight last night--but....the card I ended up making was not acceptable to me whatsoever--and I have had such a yucky couple of last days at work-that I just couldn't get my mojo going!! I just wanted to go to bed! So today after getting a few more things finished for the Wedding--I was feeling a little more myself-so tore the card I had made last night apart and re-did it--I like the outcome much better!! So, even though it won't count -at least I finished it--hope you like it Emma! I am so hoping things will get back to a little more normal ofter the Wedding, and I won't always be behind!!! Can you believe it is only 6 more days?!!! I can't!
BTW-I guess I should mention too that the challenge was a Princess theme, and you were to use the Tinkerbell cart--but I don't have that one, so I used Once Upon a Princess.

Peachy Keen Challenge

Yahhooo-I had time to make my card for the Peachy Keen Challenge! It was a sketch this go around -AND- they gave a color scheme as well!!! I had my Old West Cart out from the other day-so decided to look through it for some ideas for the challenge-this is what I came up with. The lantern is on page 47 and I took my scissors and cut out the little middle piece so that I could stamp a cute Peachy Keen face on it. Hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by!
Oh- and can someone please tell me if the word verification is still showing up--or was I successful in removing it?

spam inbox? where do I find that??

Hi all! When I got on blogger today something new pops up and says that certain comments will be put into my spam folder-and that they should be checked periodically. Anyone have any idea where this "spam inbox" is located?
On another note-while I was messing around trying to find it-I did find where to change the word verification--and have turned it off--will someone let me know if it worked-Please? Thank You!

an 8 x 8 scrapbook page to match my card/Daughters wedding card

Ok--I was so loving the image and papers from my last card that I made a scrapbook page to match it!

I am also showing my Daughters Wedding card--hubby didn't like it-so I added more to it-but am still afraid to give it to her now! Please be honest with your thoughts! Her colors for her wedding are black/white/turquoise.

Hello- how is your Sunday?

Mine is going pretty good, I was very disappointed this morning when I realized that Emma's challenge ends at midnight on Sat. night and not on Sunday night!!! This is the first one I will have missed out on! So, I was blog surfing, and I found a site that had a link to a new blog for Elizabeth Bell digi's!!

The Elisabeth Bell Digital Design Team

I found this gorgeous little cowgirl there, and had the perfect papers for it that I had bought last weekend or the weekend before--how I loose track of time---it seems to just fly out the window!
Anyways, here is my little cutie-I am really happy with how she turned out! With a gorgeous image like that--it would be hard to ruin!
The papers I found at Ben Franklin crafts, and they are by: creative imaginations.
Thanks for stopping by! I made my daughter wedding card today--but my hubby doesn't like it-so I added more to it, and I like it better-but I am still very reluctant to show it.....

Tags and bags

This is what I have came up with for my bag--I won't be able to put the two together, cuz the tag is too large for the bag!
I cut the bag out with the cricut and then attached the bag the some material, and cut out. Added a couple of ribbons and a flower with a button and brad center, along with a couple of pumpkins cut out on the cricut as well. Hope you like it! Don't forget to check out Serenity Scrappers--it is getting really close to the 35 followers now--and if you are the 35th follower you can win a prize!

Please tell me what you think!!

OK- I know this card is a little strange....it is a Thank You for the Master Seamstress who fitted my daughters wedding gown-she is a friend of one of my Mom's friend-and she only charged us $20.!!! I could not believe it when she told us that was the charge!!! I thought for sure it would be at the least $75--it didn't need a lot, but there is a lot of bead work she had to work around!! She collects Santa Clauses and had them displayed even now throughout her house. Gorgeous-to say the least! Anyways, so I want to send her a gift cert. for JoAnnes, and thought it just HAD to be a card with a Santa on it! Please Please be honest and tell me if this card looks dorky-I do not want to send it if it does!!! Thanks!

It's the first Wednesday of the month, and you know what that means for Fresh Brewed Designs ... another blog hop and image release. The HOP starts with Rhonda (me), so you are right on track!

This hop will not be your ordinary hop... it is full of secrets and smiles, wonder and amazement. Magical things happen when you get a group of ladies together. What
kind of magic you ask? The only magic worth seeking, wanting, cherishing... the kind of magic you find in true friendship. Today we have a little bit of magical enchantment to share with you in these newest Fresh Brewed Designs images. Each tells a little story, a little mystery, a little fun, and adds just a little bit of fantasy to each creation you will see during this hop.

As children we remember those
Fairy Tales about mermaids and magical worlds where fairies live. We would lay in the grass and wonder if the patch of wildflowers was full of life, if mermaids swam in the sea beneath us. It is always fun to imagine and dream.

"Some day you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again

CS Lewis

For my card I used
Marina with Pearl
I used some paper I had around for a while now, as you can't really tell, but it had flowers that popped out a bit and I copied the image onto it, hoping it would show a bit more than it does. The design papers are from Ancestry.com K-which has some gorgeous vintage looking papers in it. I also used some ribbon and Pearls by Kaiser from my stash. Oh, and I must say I used Shimmer spritz, to give a little glow to the card. The sentiment (SU) is because this image is magical and so I am giving this card to my daughter for her bridal shower this next Sunday--in hopes that it help make her whole day magical!

Thank you so much for hopping, fluttering, or splashing by today. Please continue your journey by stopping by
Kelly's blog to see her beautiful creation. There is more magic and fun to come. Be sure to complete the hop in full, you will not want to miss the surprise at the end!!!
ALSO! I am SO LOVING these new images, that I want a lucky person to have their choice of 3 digi images from FBD. Just comment on this card, and I will have random pick a winner on Thursday night!!
