I have used the Create a critter for the Dino and the also the grass. The sentiment is a My Pink Stamper stamp!!! And Yeah--I already received in my mailbox today two other sets of hers that I ordered-I can't wait to use them!!! I hope to still have time tomorrow to play along with Emma's Throwback Thursday before I leave!!

Peachy Keen challenge #31--UPDATED

Ok I had time to play today--yeah!!! Now for my Peachy Keen Challenge-I think I want my hubby to make a frame for this, or I may decide to take off the sentiment and make a photo circle there? I used the create a critter cart for the sketch, making the adorable little deer, and the butterflies.I used Peachy Keen stamps for the faces of the deer, and butterflies. The sentiment is one I found in with my stamps--not sure who makes it. The designer papers I used for this were all from a DCWV stack called Linen Closet.
UPDATE:
Ok- so as I said, I may add a photo or something-
Well, that is what I have decided to do--make it into a scrapbook page--as It was too large to be just a card. I hope this change doesn't disqualify me from the challenge-but I am really happy with the way it turned out, so it was worth it if it does! : )
Thanks for stopping by today!

Another Throwback Thursday with Emma challenge

For Mothers day-my family got me a cricut expression, I had the baby bug before--and loved it-but you can do so much more at one time with the expression!!! I am having so much fun!!! I finally got my Throwback Thursday done today--Emma's challenge this week was to use Doodlecharms Cricut Cart, and it has to a scrapbook page layout/ or two page layout.
So, I have used the Doodlecharms cart for:
The cute little bus, the apples, the apple basket, and the little faces in the bus windows. ( I then stamped them with little faces from the PeachyKeen stamp set PK-490 everyday Character Face Assortment). I also used Plantin Schoolbook for the "1rst grade"-and mini-monograms for the little picture boxes. Thank You Emma--I really needed to get rockin' on these scrapbook pages! Oh -and the designer papers are from Me and My big Ideas. Off to try to get the PeachyKeen challenge done now!

FBD Challenge of the week...

Hello! I have used of course a FBD image for this quick card. I had made my swap cuts last night with a couple of extras, so I used the apple tree in my card for this weeks challenge. I cut out a flower/& leaves, and stamped a sentiment-colored up Hannah with matching colors -quick!

Tuesday, June 22, 2010

Hello! I just wanted to stop in today and show you the cuts I made for the swap I entered into over at Serenity Scrappers. We were to make 5 cuts (12 each). I stayed up LATE last night getting them done--I was having so much fun! All but one of the cuts came from the cricut cart Straight From The Nest. The strawberry came from the cricut cart Hello Kitty Greetings. I have never participated in a swap before, so am a little unsure of it all- but hope these will be ok!

Well, I have the day off for a change--yeah!!! So I am off to take two of my girls and one friend to the move Toy Story 3!! Enjoy your day!

So, I have used PDDU for my Fred and Wilma--I made Deeno too, but couldn't fit him on the card.

Another Squigglefly card

I can't beleive it! 4 posts today! I am on a roll!!!
I just absolutely love LotS of the new release this last weekend from Squigglefly!
(I treated myself to several of them! ) Sh..... don't tell hubby!!
This little train set was one of them, and it came in a set! Gotta love the convenience of that! I think the cloud came in another set that was just released too--but that is another reason why I love these new sets-you can mix and match!!! I already made my nephews birthday card-but I think I will have to send him one in the mail and give him another with his present!! He LOVES trains, and I know he would just LOVE to get this card!!!

My Peechy Keen Challenge

WOW! MY THIRD post for the day!
I have finally got my "pretend shadow box" layout done for the Peechy Keen challenge! I had lots and lots of fun with this one! It was to be a summer themed 8x8 or 12x12 layout--and you are encouraged to use your Peechy Keen stamps if you have them!!
So, I made mine an 8x8 layout, and have my little critters going camping-that is our favorite summertime fun!!! I tried to make a little frame for it, so that it actually looked more like a real shadow box-I think I better just go out and buy a shadow box!!!! : )
But I am happy with how my layout for it turned out! I used my Cricut Cart "create a critter" for this fun little scene! I also used my Peechy Keen Critter faces stamps-how cute!! Would love to hear what you think!

Squigglefly Challenge #52

Hi all! WOW-a second post for the day! WHooohoo!
This card I made for the SF challenge which was to make a card using a SF image-but it has to do with food or drink. So, I pulled out one of their older images from when I was on their DT-this one is called Martini.
I rarely get out my stickers-but need to make myself more often, as I have a ton of them! On this card I have used some from Heidi Grace. Go to the Squigglefly Challenge Blog to join in the fun! Thanks for stopping by!

Emmas throwback Thursday card

hI everyone! I am so excited to have today off! I right away wanted to get my Thursday Throwback done-as last week I waited til the very end. This weeks challenge Emma challenged us to, was to make your card with the Cricut Cart" Stretch Your Imagination"-so I have picked a tree, birdhouse and birdie from it-and to use the colors Brown, Red, and Lt Blue-so, here is my card:

I have also used a little face for the birdie from my Peechy Keen stamps set PK-490 everyday Character Face Assortment, and the Super Tweet is from My Pink Stamper set -Punnylicious.
Thanks for stopping by today--Off to paint my Emily's nails and make some lunch--then I hope to get a few minutes to work on the Peechy Keen Challenge for this week. BYYYYEEE....

WOW-I have a watermark!

can you get that I am sooooo excited! I have never been able to figure out how to make one of these watermarks that everyone has! Well, yesterday I was hoping around blogger world and guess what ????? I found a place that will make your watermark for only $5.!!! And fast too!!! I found this awesome news over at Digital Delights by Louby Loo- you just need to email Wendy and tell her what example you like, and a few hours later--you have your new watermark with directions that even I could follow! Whhoooohooo!!! I am so excited--I just may have her make a few more--so I have different ones for each of my DT's! I am going to stick with this one for a bit though. I just gotta show a card--so I can put it on there--so here goes--same card as earlier! I will have to play around with it a bit-it probably should have been a bit smaller--but will learn that as I go!

FBD Challenge of the week...

Hi all!!!
Todays challenge over at FBD challenge is a recipe: 2 patterned papers-1 ribbon-2 flowers-and one extra item. I had so much fun with this one! How totally gorgeous is this image?! I love it! I even gave her a couple pink diamonds on her neck and added pink diamonds to her cutesy shoes as well. I think a couple of the dp's are from SU (as well as the sentiment) and one is from Kiwi. I used my Distress Inks-tattered Rose for behind the image. I also two SU punches for my SU sentiment. Ribbon is Vanilla Solid from K i memories and was great cuz it was self adhesive! Hope you all have a GREAT WEEK!!!

Time for the Aspire to Thrive Childrens Charity Challenge

This week the challenge over at Aspire to Thrive Childrens Charity is to make a paper pieced card with an Incy Wincy Image-say that three times fast!!!
So, I have actually used two image from the Aspire store. Does anyone else remember the story of the Mouse and the Lion? I do not remember the name of it--or what book it may have came from--I just remember the story of the Mouse helping the Lion--and the Lion being so shocked that the Mouse had helped him -that he didn't eat him after all! So this is what I was going for here-thought it made a cute Thank You card. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks Regina--that is customer service at its best!
