It is almost the New Year...can you believe it?

Well, at Saturday PaperA La Mode, we are starting out the New Year with a new challenge! This week we are sponsored by: Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps, and the image I have used is this super adorable image called: Hog Wild Over You. The challenge is to USE SOMETHING NEW! The new item I used was this pretty ribbon that my daughter gave me!

(Sorry about the glare on the picture....I couldn't get it to go away!)
The Hearts and Love were cut with dies from My Creative Time.

2017....

This week at THE CUTTING CAFE we were asked to use a file to make something for the NEW YEAR...I used NEW YEAR SENTIMENTS PRINTABLE FILE. I made a card for a dear friend who is gong through a tough time with cancer.

The Angel stamp is from Penny Black.

Inside I also stamped a CardzTV sentiment that says
"May Angels keep watch over you!", from the stamp set "Heavenly".
Sorry I couldn't get a pic of it, as I already wrote in the card.

I hope you can stop on over to THE CUTTING CAFE BLOG on the 21rst to check out what goodies the rest of the DT made up for New Year!

Have a great weekend!

The Cutting Cafe Inspiration

This week at THE CUTTING CAFE, it  was a free week for the dT, so we could use any file we wanted!! I thought the SNOWMAN TREAT BOX would be fun with Christmas getting closer and closer( and fast)!!
Isn't he just cute as can be?

What a fun way to give the teacher, or bus driver, or anybody a little Christmas Cheer!
I used a Peachy Keen stamp for his little face, and added a snowflake on his hat, rather than using the cut-outs from the file for his face, but that is the beauty of The Cutting Cafe...you can personalize your projects with your own items as well!!
Hope you will stop by THE CUTTING CAFE BLOG in the next couple days to see what the rest of the DT came up with to share with you! I know Regina was having server issues, so I am not exactly sure what day/time it will be.

Don't forget too, that THE CUTTING CAFE SHOP has tons of crafting goodies, and clear stamps...you can even order your own personalized Custom Clear Stamps!!

These are so much fun!!

This week our inspiration over at THE CUTTING CAFE- is: GABLE BOX

Yikes, I think I am in trouble! These were so easy and so much fun...that I can see lots and lots of GABLE BOXES in my future!! I made up two of the Mini Gable Boxes, (there are bigger ones on the file too) and decorated them with some stickers I have had for a long time, and I just love how they turned out!! These will be perfect for something little for my Grandsons teacher and her assistant right before Thanksgiving break!
They would also be perfect for the mailman, the garbage guy, your hairdresser.....as a little Thank you for your service at Christmas or any time of the year!
OR ya know what they would also be perfect for? Baby showers, or you could even use these adorable little boxes as decorations with names on them for your seating arrangements....you get it-the possibilities are endless!!

I hope you will stop by THE CUTTING CAFE BLOG on the 7th to see the rest of the DT inspiration!
And don't forget, you can now get clear stamps, and tons of other amazing crafty items over at

Happy Howl-oween!

Hello!
I have a fun card to share with you today...for the new challenge over at CARDZTV!  We had the option of using sketch 4 or 5, and making a Halloween card.
You can find Mary's sketches HERE.
I used sketch 5 for my Halloween card....I also used:

The stamp I used actually says Happy Owl-oween....but since I wasn't using an Owl, I simply stamped the Happy...then the H again if front of the Owl-oween!!!
I love being able to make even more sentiments with my CardzTV stamp sets!!

The Monsters, her bow, moon, tree and bats were all cut out with my Cricut.
I also used some NUVO Crystal Drops on my card, and a bit of faux stitching, but it is hard to see on my picture.
Hope you will join our challenge this week! It was lots of fun!

I couldn't find the white and pink Tic Tacs at the store I went to - so I will have to check somewhere else so I can put them in the box....but I am really excited that I thought to use that glitter paper...it really shines,  and it cut out on my Cricut fantastic!! I used the custom dial and turned it to glitter card stock...easy peasy!!

Halloween Milk Carton.....

Hellooooo!
This week for The Cutting Cafe Inspiration, we were asked to use one of two Halloween Files....either the Halloween Treat Cup Cards or The Halloween -Fall Milk Cartons-(there are several different milk cartons included in this file, I used the Ghost!)

I haven't put the candy in it yet-but isn't this adorable?!!
I had some Halloween paper scraps, and cut out the little characters and the Boo Crew sign-added some pompom ribbon, some google eyes, ribbon, and a rub-on for the sentiment!
Easy Peasy! I think my grandson will love taking this to his teacher filled with candies!

Saturday Paper A La Mode....

Happy Saturday everyone!
I hope you all had a fabulous week!
This week the challenge over at
is anything goes.....and  I had a lot of fun making this project!! We are sponsored this week by
I used the digi stamp Nature Fairy and printed her out and then cut her out and added some Wink of Stella to her...although you really can't tell now.
(In the digi, she actually has a little butterfly in her hand-somehow I lost that little piece and now my printer is out of ink!)
So, no little butterfly for now-after I get ink I can always add it!

I also cut out a moon and some stars on my cricut to add to my little jar as well.
I found this idea on Pinterest-and the first time I tried it, I painted the jars.....that did not work so well!! This time I used watered down Elmers glue and tissue paper.
I added some paint to the lid but then ended up covering it up! I added lace, ribbons, beads,  and cut outs, as well as a few star cut outs from the glittery paper as well, ( you can find the glitter paper at THE CUTTING CAFE  SHOP) and then I embellished them with some half pearls, and added a battery light!
I think my granddaughter will really like it!

Here is what it looks like with the lights off....
