This is one of my all time favorite images from Squigglefly--it was one from the very beginning...but one I still adore! I thought I would get started on Valentines, now that Christmas is officially over.
I am not sure if she is even available anymore--I couldn't find her --but that is one great thing about Dig's--once you purchase them, you have them forever! She is still available at Squigglefly-HERE.
Isn't she just precious?!!
Hope you all have a great day!
I am excited to announce that I have been asked to be a Team leader this term for Squiggelfly!
Congrats also to the other Dt Team leader: Holley Barnhart.
I am excited to introduce my fantastic new team! If you would like to chek out their work, you can see their blogs here:
WOW! If you are ribbon and bow challenged like me --do I have a link for you! I am so excited to find these LOOPY LOOPY BOWS over at THE CUTTING CAFE!! They are so simple to make and look fantastic!!! I have only had the chance to make this one, but can't wait to get more time to play around with them and make more!!! I cut these out with my Make The Cut-(I was even able to change up the sizes on MTC)-but I think they would be easy to print and cut out yourself too!!
There is even a step by step video which you can find HERE. Go check it out!! Have a great day!
WOW! I can't hardly beleive that it has been a whole two weeks since I posted last!!
(STILL super busy at work--and this week will probably be the busiest)
The new SQUIGGLEFLY CHALLENGE for today that Marlene picked was: Clean Simple Holiday....
I made two cards to show for this one, for the first one I used:I HEART CHRISTMAS TREE-by JANE BELJO
for the second card I used a "sneek peek" image: CHRISTMAS MEDLEY-by JESS HOLLAND
How simple they both were to make!! Thanks Squigglefly!
Well, I am SO excited to say that I have almost all of my Christmas shopping done!! (and wrapped and under the tree!) That doesn't usually happen in this family! I know that the next four weeks are going to be very hectic at work--as we are short handed with the other clerk still off--so I have done most shopping on-line this year!
It is Monday and we all know that means it is time for a new Squigglefly Challenge--this week the challenge is: Winter Wonderland. I have used one of the newer images, found over at Squigglefly: Trimming the Tree-by Rachel Goble. I added some neat ribbon I purchased recently, and here is my card....
Thanks for stopping by! It always makes my day....sorry I haven't had the time to get around much and say HI---I hope to soon!!
Well, this weekend (as all others) just flew by! I did manage to get 30 some cards made....but not a pic of a one of them---can you believe that? I made lots of cards for mail carriers....using the cute mailbox that is found on the Jolly Holidays Cricut cart, very cute!! Emily stayed at a friends house on Friday night then I picked her up at Roller Skating after I got out of work on Sat.
Today we went to the local Library and they had games and crafts, and they showed the new Winnie The Pooh movie--Emily won the Movie while we were there, how cool is that?!! Now she is at a Thanksgiving dinner and craft get together with the Girl Scouts. The program is called Little Sisters, and has been very cool/and fun for Emily to be involved with!
Is everyone ready for Thanksgiving? In case I don't get back before then...Hope you all enjoy the day with your families!
My best friend and her family just found out that her husband Chris (age 41) has lung cancer. He is in the ICU at a hospital in Cary N.C and on a waiting list to be transferred to Duke. They are in shock --as he has never been a smoker, or exposed to any danger that they know of. Please keep them on your Prayer list--it would be much appreciated. Thank You!
Time for another Squigglefly Challenge--this week the challenge is to make a Birthday card, it is Marlene's week to pick the Challenge and since it is her birthday this month --she picks Birthday Card! I have used one of the Squigglefly images--this one is called "Bored Beatrice" and is by none other than Marlene! Beatrice comes with a sentiment too, but I used my own for this card.
As you all probably know the Post Office was closed on Friday for Veterans day--so I went with a couple of gals to a craft crop-there were lots of vendors there and I purchased lots of new papers and crafty items-fun to see all the goodies available out there!!
Well, hope you all have a great week!
I have made this card with one of the many new images that were released over at Squigglefly on Saturday!
With 3 new artists there is plenty of selection!
The new artist are:Gemma Mortlock Rachel Goble
and Meytal and the image of hers that I used is called Circus Elephants (flags)--so make sure to check out all the new images!!
I have used some of my SU downloads for the Big Top Papers (stars and stripes).
I have added a couple of buttons to be the balloons and I also used Build a banner kitby Emma over at My Creative Time for my peanut sale sign.
I did hear from the new winner picked for my candy-Thank You Beth!!
Well, hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday! Have a great week....
Well, I never heard from the last winner--and I said I would pick a new winner if I hadn't heard by Friday night--and it is Friday night----so..... the new winner of my blog candy is #13 and that would be Elizabeth Allan ! Beth please email me with your address!
HI all! Today is an exciting day....it is Halloween--the day I pick a winner for my blog candy...and the start to a new challenge over at Squigglefly! The challenge this week is to Tickle Marlene's Fancy!! Make her giggle--or smile at least! I have used November Turkey by Brian Lock....and I have to be honest - I had to ask for my hubby's help with coming up with a sentiment! I worked lots of hours again this last week, and my brain just doesn't want to think!! I really like what he came up with though!
Here is a photo of my Trick or Treat-ers!
They are gonna be Bumblebees!! Guess we all love Bumblebees!!!
Hi all! I have been working so much lately--that I have hardly had the chance to get online and see what is new let alone make anything!!! Last weekend however, I did have a Baby shower at my house for one of my daughters friends...we made this diaper cake--don't laugh-it was our first!!
It turned out kinda cute, I thought.

Between no internet and working tons of hours--cuz the other clerk hasn't been to work for a couple of weeks now.....I have had NO spare time to craft!!! : (
I have missed it terribly!
So, on with the Squigglefly challenge...this week is: Face your Fears!
I have to admit I am a little afraid of the dark! I have used this adorable image: Witch on a pumpkin by Jackie Mathews.
Squigglefly has a super Halloween Savings going on right now--25% off when you use the online code
I have a little blog candy for you---make sure you comment on this post and a winner will be chosen by random.org on October 31rst. I will add to this candy if there are more than 15 comments.
I am about getting tired of this little game!! Just when I have a moment ---I can't connect--I am really not sure how many HOURS I have spent on the phone with this company in the last week--but I sure hope that is the last of it! Tomorrow I am going to a SU card making night--so hope to see you sometime on Thursday!!
Sorry! I was not able to visit anyone -I had my internet go down this week -for almost the whole week! Hopefully tomorrow or Sunday I can get back on track!! I think some blog candy is coming soon too!
Hi all--it is Monday and time for another Squigglefly challenge! Unfortunately the image I used is no longer available in the shop over at Squigglefly--but I wanted to show you anyways! And there are sure plenty awesome available fall images to pick from!!
The challenge this week? Paper Piecing---and I love paper piecing! So here is my card--make sure to go leave some love for all the other DT members-and enter the challenge...you always have the chance to win a free image/or set--you just need to make sure to use a Squigglefly image on your card/project!
Hi all! You can find the winners of my two candies here.
I have made this Wedding Card for a very good friend--who needed a card-she said the colors were black and bright pink. The image is from Squigglefly:Wedding Bliss-Beautiful Cake
I APOLOGIZE TO ALL--BLOGGER WAS SUPPOSED TO POST THIS AT 8:00AM THIS MORNING!!! i GOT HOME FROM WORK AND CHECKED AND WAS SO HORRIFIED THAT IT WASN'T UP!!
It is that time again--time to HOP with Fresh Brewed Designs! Heather has another set of rubber that is now available....and it is a Breast Cancer Awareness Set! It is fun and whimsical--and Oh--SOO.... Cute!!
Thank you for joining in on the Fresh Brewed Designs Save The Hooters blog hop.
If you are getting here from CAROLYNS blog then you are right on track. If not, please start off at the beautiful and talentedLinda's blog.
Fresh Brewed Designs has created a brand new rubber stamp set as well as several digital stamps in which part of your purchase will be donated to Chemo Angels. If you have not heard about Chemo Angels we suggest you look them up. They are a wonderful organization. They support all forms of cancer as well as have ways to donate in the form of time, cards, as well as monetary donations. To find out more about how Fresh Brewed Designs will be taking part, read here.
For this hop I chose to use the image: Save The Hooters--Isn't this little pair just the cutest?!! And what an awesome fun way to remind someone to make sure they get their yearly exam!!
Hi--I am really down to the wire on this one! I meant to get it done last night and then it just didn't happen.
So we were to case a card made by Julia--which you can see here. I used The Cafe's-Searching for the perfect Pumpkin file, and used some SU stamps for the background. Hope you like it--and there is a new challenge up as of today (Tuesday)--so make sure to go on over and "CASE" it out!
Don't forget to enter my Small Halloween Blog Candy--only 5 have entered and it ends Friday-so your chances are pretty good, at this point! Check it out HERE.
This card is going out to a lady whom I have never met, her name is Beverly. She stopped at the scene of a horrible accident that one of my brothers best friends Dave was in, about a week ago. He was on a motorcycle--and from what I understand, he hit the back side end of a semi truck going in the opposite direction--and he has completely lost his arm! This lady happened past and she was a nurse--Thank GOD--she saved his life!! Between her and one of her male family members-they were able to control the bleeding enough to keep him alive until EMS got there!! She and her family deserve a medal of honor--he is such a good kid-(and probably only about 39 years old)-I am so happy she was driving by at that moment!! It will be long process for him to learn how to do everything one handed, but at least he is alive!! I have added an angel to the card I am sending her-because she is most certainly his angel!
my cute little image is from Lori by Designs! The sentiment is from another image she has as well, and fits perfectly--as it does make my heart smile to know there are still people like this out there!!!
Hi all! Today there is a new Squigglefly challenge---this week it is a sketch!

Hi all--just a few extra goodies I purchased the other day. If interested-all you have to do is comment.
Random.org will pick a winner on Friday.
I recently purchased My Digital Studio from SU--I am loving it so far! This little cutie was from a set you could add on--Greeting Card Kids--I just think she is ADORABLE!! I have used some SU ribbon as well. The little sentiment is from The Cutting Cafe:Autumn Days Printable Stamp Set.
See you tomorrow with the new Squigglefly Challenge.
Hi everyone! Wheww...what a week! Today we went for another visit to Grand Rapids to see the Dr. about Emily's arm--she got a pretty good report, but the Dr. does want to see her again in 6 months. She has a large amount of bone growth on her elbow, and they want to watch it closely to make sure it doesn't affect her growth plate. I have been trying to work on this page for days now, and am so glad to see it finally finished...I really like how it turned out! I have made this sports page for the challenge over at: Creative Cutter Room, that I found from Carri'sblog. I used the cricut for the all of the cut-outs except for the adorable little cheerleader!! She is a special digi-Rah Rah Rhonda-as she was made for me bySquigglefly's Chesney Young the first time around when I was on their DT.
Here is a better pic of Rah Rah Rhonda! Isn't she just perfect for any Cheerleader scrapbook page!!
And here is a pic of my little Cheerleader-Emily!
Hope to see you soon! While we were away today, we got the opportunity to stop real quick at the scrapbooking store --so I have bought just a couple extra goodies to give away--so make sure to check back often!
Hi all! I have made this card for the very first Challenge going over at: LadyLuvBug'sBlog! I have remade a card similar to one I had made when I was doing SU--but looking at the one from way back then--it was pretty plain and very simple...I like this version much better!I have used SU stmap set: Autumn Days... just by adding the extra DP papers and the doodling, and that fun leaf brad really spruces this new card up--and the old version did not have a sentiment either--which is part of the challenge!! The challenge was to make a Birthday or Anniversary card using fall colors. The 12th is also JanetsBlog-A-Versary, so make sure to stop by and tell her HI!
The prize for this challenge? At the end there will be a drawing for a stamp set from the wonderful and talented Miss Emma of the My Creative Time Blog. You can check out all her delicious stamp sets HERE. If you want to get in on this challenge--better hurry--it only runs through the 12th! Have a great week!!
The first # that random picked was Heather! Heather is the owner of FBD--so since I am sure she has the stamp already--I had random pick another winner--so the winner is:
Maria Matter!!! Congrats Maria, if you would please email me with your address- I will get your stamp out to you---I think I will keep it a mystery as to which stamp you win.....It shall be more fun that way!

Well, today is a sad post for me!!
This is my last post as part of theTHE CUTTING CAFE DT!! As a rule, you can only be on the DT for two consecutive terms, then you must sit one out. So, maybe...just maybe... at a future time, I will be listed as part of TCC DT again!
Todays card I have made using: FUN WITH SILHOUETTES--which includes 66 images, and now has been updated with 36 of the images that are cutting files!! ( I used my cricut and MTC to cut out the two background trees) I also used: EVERYDAY MINI WORDSwhich I then punched out with my SU tag punch.
AND....this is your lucky week--you will want to make sure to visit and commenton each and every one of us THE CUTTING CAFE DT's who are participating... as you have the chance to win the file that each DT member has used for their card! The drawings will be held Saturday--so make sure to check back too!! My thoughts are with all of you who are in the path of Irene!!
Happy Monday-hope your weekend seemed to last longer than mine! It didn't help that I had to work from 6am to 5pm on Saturday!! (I did get an hour and a half for lunch--so was at least able to get home and let poor Max out!!)

Hope you all have a great day--I have a BUNCH of catching up on to do today! And so far, (and it is 11:24am) my hubby seems to have forgotten today is our anniversary!!! I think I may have to whip up a - your in the dog house" card for him!!!
Here is the card I made--then asked my hubby to look at--yep--he had totally forgotten!!! This image is from Squigglefly and is called In The Dog House--by Marlene S. It was so perfect for today! He did take Emily and I out to dinner (late lunch) at LaSenorita after that-so all is well! Wow--what weird weather we are having today--it thundered and rained so hard while we were at the restaurant that the lights went out--so we hurried home , we figured our puppy Max was scared to death by himself--and it hadn't even rained here!! But boy those clouds are sure dark ones!!
