The Cutting Cafe Thank You set

Hi! Hope you are all enjoying the last couple hours of 2010! I have a Thank You set to show you-the bag is from The Cutting Cafe-and is the Heart Bag. I have left the bag open, so that a small surprise can be added. I have made a card to go along with it. The dp I have used are from DCWV  The Blossoms and Butterflies stack. I have added some ribbon and cut out a butterfly to adorn the bag with my SU butterfly punch. The flowers are cut out of some Christmas paper by K&Company. I have put tinsel (not sure of the correct name--it just won't come to me!) around the heart. Thanks for stopping by and I wish you all the Happiest New Year!!

I have made a card to match-what a cute little gift set-ya think?

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL......

I hope you are all enjoying your day with your loved ones, I know I am. My youngest daughter got us all up about 4 this morning, and after we all opened presents- most of us went back to sleep! Then we got up and had a nice breakfast with all of us here---it is so nice to have us all here!!
Well, tonight I made a box for some photos that my oldest daughter Brittany is actually turning into cards (on the machine at Walmart) tomorrow for my Mom. I put photos on the box-cuz that is what they are now...but then Brittany pointed out that they will really be cards when she is finished. Well, I figure my Mom can use it for photos when the cards are gone, right?!! This box is available at THE CUTTING CAFE and it is the BOX FOR QUARTER FOLD CARDS. Isn't it cute?! I am having such a ball with all the goodies available at The Cutting Cafe!! I had to make a matching card for Brittany to give her as a Thank you for the Christmas gifts-the cute little tree is from the SU set Forest Friends and the Thank you is from the SU set Teeny Tiny Wishes. The DP papers are from DCWV Amber Autumn fall stack collection and the ribbon is from The Angel Company. Thanks for stopping by... MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!!

The Cutting Cafe Photo Card

This is just the cutest template ever--I am so totally gonna make one of these for every occasion! This is the Camera Photo Shaped Holder Template, and I love it! It comes with lots of  different  circle sentiments and also some that are not in a circle! I have made this one for the Holiday Pictures-the inside holds up to ten 4 by 6 photos!! How cool is that?!! What a perfect card to give someone-filled up with pictures of a special day!

It was originally supposed to be the pink and the red was going to be the accent color--but I got into such a hurry to see it all together I accidentally taped the wrong side! I really am happy with this one though, and maybe will still make another one with the original idea! Have a great night-are you counting down to Christmas? Only three more days--I can't wait to see the kids open their gifts!

The Squigglefly Carolers

This little image is from Squigglefly-Caroling kids.  Isn't it just adorable?!! I have had this one for a while now, and it catches my eye every time I see it!
I won the challenge over at Squigglefly last week, and got to pick out a free image!! I couldn't stop at one--had to purchase some extras too--there are just so many to pick from! So, I hope to make a card with a couple of those in a few days! ( I had seen a card holder made with one of  the images I picked: HERE and I just have to make a card similar to it soon!!!---so cute!!)

I have some VERY EXCITING news!

I recently applied for a DT position with THE CUTTING CAFE and I am thrilled to get to tell you today that
                                             I made it!
I don't officially start until January--but wanted to show you today something I made for Emily's teacher with a couple of the sets from The Cutting Cafe! The main part of this was made with the Pillow Box Set that I had actually gotten a couple of months ago. I also used Merry Christmas to my Teacher set. DP is from the Holiday Collection from DCWV-The Christmas Stack and I have used some SU ribbon and the red/white thread-I can not remember where it is from?! I popped out one Santa and the Holly Jolly-but it is hard to see that in the photo.
I am so excited to get round to meet the other DT members--I am sure they will all be announcing it today as well! Thank You Regina! Stop back by here soon!

Happy Sunday to ya!

Hi all!
Hope you are all enjoying your Sunday afternoon! I had to work this morning-and am soon gonna go to Joannes and get some more double sided tape--I kinda thought I had one somewhere-but haven't even bothered to try to look today as my craft room is a disaster! If I find it when I clean, bonus!!! I made a wreath for my daughters teachers classroom door-I know the pic is horrible-but I really like how it turned out--much better in person w/out half of it cut off!! I used the leaves from the Holly from Christmas All Around (The Cutting Cafe) and cut it out with my Make the cut-I did only the leaves and punched out circles for the berries--Christmas All Around is available over at The Cutting Cafe. I hope to be back tomorrow or Tuesday with a project using the Merry Christmas to my Teacher set! I just gotta get going on some of these things! Bye..... for now!

Serenity Scrappers Challenge

Hi all! I almost missed out on this challenge too-time is just going by so fast this month! I always try to do their challenges, cuz the gals over at Serenity Scrappers are great, and there is so much inspiration on their blog! I love to get in on their exchanges too, it is so fun to get goodies from carts I don't own!
Well, the challenge this time is to make a card, tag or layout. I have made a tag: I have made the cuts for the angel from the Christmas cart, and the bulb is from Joys of the Season (I think). I have added some ribbon and gems, and the poinsetta is from a free cut from Cooking with Cricut. Two of the papers are from SEI-Moonrise. I won it from the Gaby/Abby Challenges. I have had only a couple of minutes to play around with PhotoElf that I won from Serenity Scrappers--but I hope to be back soon with something I have planned to make using it!! PhotoElf is awesome!! Thanks for stopping by!

gift card made with Squigglefly and Cooking with cricut

Hi all! I have to hurry here-so this will be short and sweet! I made this gift card holder for the challenge over at Squigglefly! I needed to make my brother and sister-in-law one anyways, so what a perfect challenge! I have used one of Squigglefly digital images and cut off the saying that went around the image. I have also used a cut that was today's freebie over at Cooking with Cricut-they have gave a freebie every day for 15 days so far! And they are gorgeous cuts! Hope you like it!

Hi all! Sorry this is so late to post, I had to work this morning--and I am not sure why I didn't pre post it last night!! The Fresh Brewed Challenge Blog has a new challenge and it  is: Merry Christmas--so I have used this cute little guy available over at FBD!
I printed him out  a couple of times on different papers and then cut and pasted him together. I used glimmer mist on the ribbon. Hope you like him--I think he is adorable and fun!
Check the FBD site for some cool info on a new digi available for cards for children with special needs(http://www.cardcupids.org/)

SEI WITH GABY AND ABBY #9

Hi all! Whew... thought I actually might not make this one! But I pulled it together after all! I actually had to work today in two different P.O.'s, then came home and finished wrapping a few extra gifts. Every time I think I am totally done, I think of another person I forgot! Ughh..
Anyways I had fun putting this one together. It is supposed to be glitter it up--and I have glittered my gumdrops -but it is hard to see in the pic. Have a great night. don't forget to check out Gabby and Abby's blogs!

A few misc. cards

Hi all! I am in the process of making some cards for my good friend to give out for birthdays and so on! She gave me a list of like 50!! Well, so far I am done up through March, so I thought I'd take a pic of them.
They are mostly digital images from  here and there--not exactly sure positively as when I first started I wasn't putting the company name on the images I saved. I think all so far are from Squigglefly, Fresh Brewed Designs, and Phindy's Place.
                                                 Fresh Brewed                Squigglefly
                                                                     Squigglefly
Squigglefly
                                                 Phindy's Place                        Squigglefly
Do you think she will be happy with them?

Fresh Brewed Designs Challenge Day

Hi everyone! It is another Fresh Brewed Designs challenge day! Today the theme is SPARKLE ans SHINE!
I originally made this tag for the FBD and TSB digi day--but then never got it entered--so I have made a card out of it!! This cute little gingerbread man can be found at FRESH BREWED DESIGNS--and make sure to check out the other new images while you are there!

Gaby and Abby Challenge #8

Hi all! Have you checked out the Gaby Abby SEI Challenges yet? I try real hard too not miss any of them. These gals are fun, and oh so talented! Their layouts are amazing, and I think they must have the best scrapbooks ever!! So , with all of their superb layouts, they have inspired me to make one for this week's challenge. The challenge is to make anything CHRISTMAS. I have based my layout around an idea that  Holly of  Hog Wild About Stamping shared on her blog. I thought it was such a neat idea! so , here it is:

This cute little Reindeer has been made from cutouts of  my daughter Emily's foot and hands. I plan to put her Christmas Program pic on it for this year as well!
Thanks Holly-Gaby and Abby for all of the inspiration!

Two New Squigglefly cards

Hi everyone!
I made a couple of cards for my Mom--she has a couple of December birthdays to send cards for and she asked me to make them for her. Here are the first two. I added the wreath which was a separate image, to the bridge image. These first two cards were made with images from Squigglefly! I would love to hear what you think of them.

and here is one more--not Squigglefly--this is actually stamped--WHAT???----Yes, it is from a SU stamp set called The More the Merrier.
