File Folder Cuts with THE CUTTING CAFE...

Hi! I was playing around today--and made this super cute mini set! The cutting file is from
THE CUTTING CAFE----FILE FOLDERS TEMPLATE and then I made the little box to put them in. I made 12 mini  file folders to put in the box, and then decorated the box as well. Isn't this so cute?
See you tomorrow!

Bowtie Chickie...

Hi! Just a real quick "how are you all today" and a pic of the cute little box I made for my Grandson's first Easter. I made the cute little chick with a digi image from Fresh Brewed Designs. The chick is called "Fuzzy Chick with Bowtie'. I paper pieced him and his bowtie--isn't he just perfect for a little guy?!! I also just cut out some clouds and eggs--they look kind of funny-but at 5 months, I don't think he will be too judgmental!
Hope you all have a HAPPY EASTER!

A birthday card and challenges...

I have made a birthday card for one of the gals at the AFC home.
I have used Peachy Keen for the cute little face on the flower. (PK 640 Princess Face Asst.)
The heart balloon and the tulip flower are from Create a Critter.
I am so proud -I have used lots of scraps on this card! Please see recipe for the rest of the details and items used!
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges: (and recipe info)
Little Scrap Pieces-use handmade embellishments--I have used skittles from Double Click Connections found HERE and also a handmade flower that my daughter made.
**updated** Bummer-this challenge is already closed! Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog--use a kite or balloon. I have used both the heart balloon and the tulip cuts from Create a Critter cart.
My Creative Time-Use a die, Ribbon or Twine, and Faux stitching--I have used MCT Flower Petal Dies and also the cloud from Fly Away with Me Dies

sign...

Hi all!
I needed to make a sign for the cards that I sell at a bookstore here in town. Since I am "Bumblebee Creations" I wanted it to include a cute Bumblebee! I found this little cutie in the cricut cart PAISLEY.
I used all scraps for my little bee and then used some papers, ribbon, and sticker from Cosmo Cricket-Jacks World. I hid the face on the bee cut and placed a stamped face instead that is from Peachy Keen-Princess face asst. (PK-640). I have also added skittles from Double Click Connections that can be found HERE. I may have doodled a little too much-but too late now! I made a hand cut bow and cut out a flower from the matching paper to make my little bee more girly, and added back in some
rosy cheeks as well.
well...I better get back to doing something-my day is slipping away from me already...Do you all do that too? Make all sorts of plans, and then get hardly any of them done?!!

cute bunny boxes for the ladies...

Hi! I just had to show you the boxes that I made up for the ladies at the AFC home that I worked at this last year, and for my Grandma who will be 102 this summer, and my wonderful Momma!
I found this tutorial years ago, and hadn't made any for several years, and my daughter brought one back to me--thinking I might like to make them again--I am so glad she did! You can find the tutorial HERE. There is also one of a cute little chickee HERE! I  made these little bunnies a bow to wear, instead of tying the ribbon like the tutorial--I am so bad with tying bows. I cut the bows out with my cricut from the Disney Mickey and Friends cart.
They are kind of hard to see when they are all together-so here is one by herself.
and here is her cute little bunny tail.
See you all later!

A Squigglefly Thank You

Hello
The card I am sharing with you today is made with a digi image from SQUIGGLEFLY. The image is called:
DAFFODIL IZZY and is by artist DIANE CARUBIA.
I have made this card using the sketch from the FRIDAY SKETCH CHALLENGE #39.

I have no kids in the daycare today or all next week, they all went away to warmer places.
Then the following week is the schools spring break, so my baby will be home with me all week! Hurray!
Well, hope to be back, I really need to take advantage of this time though and get my sons OPEN HOUSE invites made! I can't believe he is graduating already! ; (
Have a great day!

If you are looking for my new Squigglefly challenge post-go HERE.

I have made a card for my DS girlfriends B-day...he made her one too, but he already gave her his-and I neglected to get a pic of it...it was sweet though! Her actual b-day is tomorrow. She really liked the movie Wreck-It Ralph, so we picked up the DVD for her.
Here is her card: I have used a digi image from FRESH BREWED DESIGNS called-SWEET BUNNY. I have made this card using the sketch from The Sweetest Thing-Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #180. Here is the sketch:
(added on to say: I am also entering this in the FRESH BREWED DESIGNS MONTHLY CHALLENGE-which is paper piecing.)
and here is the card I made:
Hope you like it--have a great day!

Squigglefly Challenge #11-Face the Music

Hello! It is MONDAY...wow those weekends go by way too fast! It seems like I just blinked and it was over already! I did get my Grandmas cards done...but not much else that I had hoped to get done! : (
This weeks challenge over on the Squigglefly Challenge Blog is: Face the Music. Rhonda's Rowdy Rascals is bringing you the inspiration this week--so go on over and check them out!
I have used Squigglefly digi image Doodle Bloom by Jane Beljo.
My song " She's a Wildflower" by Lauren Alaina-I found it on the internet...and it is a pretty neat little song.
Doodle Bloom-Jane Beljo
My daughter is just learning how to make the little flowers, so of course I had to add that on this card too, along with a SU brad for the middle! I have also used my skittles which can be found HERE.
Bye for now!

A few cards...

Hi all! I have a few cards that I have made to give to my Grandma for her birthday. My daughter is lucky enough to be able to go to Alabama next week, so thought I would send these along. My grandma loves elephants, so I made up several elephant cards.
These first elephants are from a digi set from Squigglefly called: Cute Elephant Set. I have also used skittles from Carrie's Doubleclick-AKA abusybee and you can find them HERE. She has a new release of colors HERE.
This next one is also a digi  from Squigglefly and is called Doodle Bloom-you will see my matching image card tomorrow, as it was made for the new challenge over at the Squigglefly Blog Challenge.
Next are a couple made with digis from Pink Petticoat called Baby Elephant
and then...
I also made a container to put them in...I used some fabric-ribbon-and skittles and paper to cover an Enfamil baby formula container. I like how it turned out...it was my first attempt at covering something like this.
That is it for now...see you tomorrow!

Question for you all....would love to hear what you think...

Ok, so my hubby has decided to make some doll furniture to sell. He made my daughter several different items for Christmas--this doll furniture is made to the size to fit with American Girl dolls (18 inch)...He has made an Adirondacks chair set and I am wondering what you think would be a good/fair price to ask. He is funny - worries about asking too much, so would just love to hear your opinions!

Here is an example of my daughters doll sitting in the chair...that is one of the dresses I made for her dolly for Christmas...(I didn't make the shirt underneath though-I need lots more practice before I can even attempt to think of making something like that!)

He has decided to not finish them, as folks may want them a certain color...thought we might offer to paint them for an extra amount?
Thanks for any advice you would like to offer! Rhonda

Skittle, button, and Ink organization...

This is so simple, but I am quite pleased with it. My hubby made the holder out of some scrap pieces of wood. The containers are some baby food containers that I washed and saved up from the daycare kiddo's. I used my Dymo to label the colors in each container. And a bonus was finding out that my Tim Holtz Distress Inks fit in there perfectly as well-so I labeled those up too!!

I also have organized my buttons by colors, in hopes that I will actually use them- if they are out where I can see them! I have some more coming, after I got them in the jars there weren't near as many as I thought I had!!

I have also tried to de-clutter my craft room a little, in hopes that I may have some time this week to make some cards and projects. Now if I could just figure out to do with all these scraps of paper that I have--I do not seem disciplined enough to make myself use them up--I have at least 11 bags and a drawer full of them---if you have ideas --Please...let me know!!
Have a great week!

Challenge time...Ways with Ribbon...SFC0913

Time for another challenge! I had fun with this one...
WAYS WITH RIBBON--over at the SQUIGGLEFLY CHALLENGE BLOG we would love to see your ideas to use ribbon on your card/project without just tying a bow. I have used SQUIGGLEFLY digi image LITTLE BEARS PRESENT by artist Diane Carubia. I have used the ribbon in all four corners of my card making somewhat of a frame for my adorable image. BTW-did you see all the new images at Squigglefly this weekend? AWESOME--don't miss out getting yours--right now, during the entire month of March you can save 15% by entering the code "spring15"!!!
I hope you all had a great weekend--did you do anything special? I think I need a little get-away!! Something unusual did happen this weekend though--I picked up Emily's friend to take her to their friends B-day party...I was so thirsty, so on the way we stopped at McDonalds drive through to get a soda, and I got a large fry for the girls to share...when I got up to the window to pay, the gal working told me that the guy in front of us had already paid for us, because it was such a nice day out! I have no idea whom this gentleman was...but wasn't that a really kind thing to do!! Has anything like that happened to any of you-I would love for you to share your story with me! It makes me think of that movie--Pay it Forward--such a good movie!
Well, I have talked your ears off today--better get going--enjoy your day.
Rhonda

on this next card (and sorry if you are tired of seeing this image--but I love it!)
I have used another Squigglefly image: DOGWOOD DELIGHT by Lynne Stansbery. I have used the skittles again, this time to highlight the sentiment, and you can find them HERE.

I also wanted to let you know that over at SQUIGGLEFLY during the entire month of March you can save 15% by entering the code "spring15"!
