Hi all! I wanted to share with you a cute little bookmark. I made this cutie bookmark for my daughter Emily who is in Girl Scouts to use for her Journey book.( And this image was perfect timing because she is really currently selling G.S. cookies)....I have used one of the new release images: Jades cookies, over at THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE.

Fresh Brewed Designs New image Release

Hi all, you can't even believe how excited I am today to share this project with you!!

I have used one of the new images available now over at

Fresh Brewed Designs

the image is: #2018 Face 3

            and I have so loved working with this image!!

I think sometimes we get so into making things for everyone else, that we forget to take the time to make something for ourselves! Well, that is exactly what I am sharing with you today...something I have made for myself-and I love how it turned out!! Doesn't that gorgeous image just pop right off the journal?!! 

Recipe:

Papers are from June Bug paper pad by Basic Grey--that I have had forever it seems!! 

A few embellishments, cork stickers, twine, and buttons from my stash.

 I colored her up with Copics, and  I also used some Stickles for her lips, and some Glossy Accents for her eyes. I inked all around the papers with SU Dusty Durango Ink.

I did a bit of doodling with a white gel pen as well. 

Then, I got out my Bind it all--that I literally haven't used in ages.....and got on You Tube to figure out how to use it again!! I have had it for a long time, and only have used it a couple of times, maybe I will get it out more often now that I have re-watched the videos!! I used pink binder and I am thinking I should adds ome ribbons, what do you think?

CardzTV....3D Birthday Card Challenge....

Hi all!
Today over at CARDZTV a new challenge is starting.....this one is to make a 3D Birthday Card. I made an Easel card for my inspiration card. I needed a birthday card for a gentleman at church, and he is a farmer...so this is what I came up with....(I used print and cut on my Explore)....

The Cutting Cafe Calendar Card...

Challenge #3-Squigglefly's new challenge.....

I am so sad to be the deliverer of bad news, but this is the last challenge for SQUIGGLEFLY from Carolyns crafters team., there will be one last challenge from Holleys team on the 26th- as they are closing their doors, Feb.1, 2015...I will sure miss Squigglefly-I have been on the DT what seems like forever-and have MANY MANY GREAT memories during that time!! Holly was one of the first friends I stayed in touch with through all these years-even though I have never met her!! She gave me advice when I was just starting out, and I stalked her blog continuously for new ideas, and hints on how to do MORE crafty things. Thank You Holly and Squigglefly....you will forever be in my heart!!

Well, with that said, it is time for a new challenge today folks!! This week the new challenge over at SQUIGGLEFLY is "SNOW MUCH FUN".  There are some really PERFECT images over at the Squigglefly store for this challenge right now!! I have used one of an adorable little set....

This week over at THE CUTTING CAFE we had a "free" week, so we could do any project we wanted....with Valentines coming up as the next "holiday", I wanted to get started on a few Valentines projects. I have used THE CUTTING CAFE'S file: Hershey Kiss Treat Box.

First challenge of the New Year with Squigglefly...

Hi all!
There is a new challenge going on over at the SQUIGGLEFLY CHALLENGE BLOG!! This is a super easy one to get the New Year started......Glitter or Sparkle! I have used a SQUIGGLEFLY digi image for my card, it is called: WARM AND COZY SET by Cheryl Grant Alger. Have you ever used a digi image? They are so fun and easy.....you can find lots of tutorials HERE if you would like to learn more! So, on to my card....

I colored up my image with Copics, added a Holly (Martha Stewart punch), some doodling with a white GellyRoll pen, a sentiment with SU stamp and punches, a doily, a couple little hearts,and lastly some stickles....

Hope you can join in the fun....there is always a digital image for the winner! (you must use a Squigglefly image to qualify as a prize winner).
