Squigglefly Challenge #1 for 2014....Embossing

Hi all! Happy New Year to you, I hope you enjoyed your holidays!! Today marks the day that we announce our first challenge of the year over on the SQUIGGLEFLY CHALLENGE BLOG! I though it would be great to do a THANK YOU for someone (maybe for those wonderful crafty items you got for Christmas) and as an added challenge ADD: EMBOSSING-it is a technique that I don't do often enough! You can either emboss your papers or do some actual embossing with powders and your heat gun....

I decided to get out my embossing powders and heat gun....I have used a new image available from SQUIGGLEFLY called SACHET BAGS by artist Pamela Lehto, and used the Sachet bag with Rose. I printed and cut this out-and then actually put ribbon through the printed lines, added lots of gems and popped up the rose by cutting it out again and attaching to the Sachet bag.
Have you stopped over to the Squigglefly store this weekend? There was a new release with lots of awesome new digis, and even a new artist ...Enid Barnes---so hope you get the chance  and I hope you will get the opportunity to join in our challenge-you always have the chance to win a free digi of your own, if you use a Squigglefly image in your entry!! ( you can find freebies on the Squigglefly site, and those count too!!) Thanks for stopping by today!

Rhonda, this is so pretty! I LOVE your genius idea of threading real ribbon through the top! The pearls you added are such a nice touch too. Really feminine and elegant thank you!
