With sympathy/ and some GREAT NEWS!!

My cards today are sympathy cards-I dont like doing sympathy cards-but I figure that is probably one of the most important times to send a card to someone! Most everything is SU - the cardstock-ds papers-and embellishments! I have embossed with a sU stamp sentiment-"with sympathy".

Now for the GREAT NEWS!! I am so excited again today-but for a totally different reason!! I have got down to my "Next" goal as far as weight loss goes! I am very thankful and feel much better! I know I can keep it up now-I havent' been this low on the scale for years!!! Yahoo!!! Have a great rest of the day!

To see what all goodies I got today?!!!!!

Wow! I got lots and lots of goodies today!!! I am soooo geeked! We went to two scrapbooking stores-the one with the garage sale, and another one about 40 miles from there! I got all of this stuff, the first pic is the garage sale stuff-and the 2nd and 3rd the new loot I found!!! AND....another great thing is that in a couple of days they will let me know how much my items in the garage sale went for, and then I get to go pick out itmes from the store for that amount!!! Yeah!!

Also have you ever visited Simon says blog or store? They are awesome to work with-and have such a variety of goodies for purchase-I actually found them on the ebay site-and have watched them grow very fast which proves of their super service and happy customers! I know this may seem silly- but I think you will all get it! I am so excitd-I am going to go to a couple scrapbook stores today, and the one is haveing their customers bring in their items no longer wanted for a garage sale!!!!! Hi everyone! Well, it seems this is a super busy time for everybody-I for one am ready for summer to wind down and get back to having some time to craft! I have a card to show today that I have made and need to get out as it was already a "belated" birthday to begin with! I have used another image from squigglefly-this one is called Dancing Denise and is by the artist Lynne Stansbery!! isn't she so much fun! She is just ready to PARTY!!!! So since she seems to be a little on the wild side, I have colored her up in some wildish duds and used some snazzy papers for behind her! I hope the gal she is for will like her!!

GROOVY GUS

Hi yall! Todays card is made with an image from the very talented Tracey! You can find this wonderful image over at Squigglefly!! This image just screams "lots of color-Please"!! A super fun image to color up! I used some SU cardstock and ds papers are from the new "June Bug" paper pad by basic grey! Some really cool papers in that one! Some flowers and brad from my stash-I colored with copics and used my computer for the sentiment, I also used a few stickles on the sun! Punched out sentiment with a SU punch.

Squigglefly challenge time!

Well it is time again for our weekly challenge over at the SQUIGGLEFLY BLOG! This weeks challenge was to use this gorgeous reindeer! The artist who drew this one is Chesney Young-isn't it adorable! You can't really tell in the photo but I have added flocking to the antlers and they are nice and fuzzy! Cardstock and sentiment are SU and ds paper is from the christmas glitter stack by DCWV. Colored with copics, and I used the SU scallop oval and snowflake punches as well. Some flowers and a christmas brad from my stash, and I'm all done!!

Hello again! I am back with another card tonight! This is also an image from squigglefly called Hooty Who and the artist of this one is Nina. I like how this card turned out-I used Holly's technique on how to add the sentiment right to the image-Thanks Holly!!

Yahoo! I got to make another card today!! I don't know if it is only me-but ya know-I start feeling really grumpy when I don't get my time to make a card! I guess I feel like deprived or something! Anyways, todays card is an image that I have had for a while and jsut getting around to making a card with!! I love it! Isn't this just too cute-I can just imagine a little kitty really suggling up in a stray boot! Yesterday I started telling you which artist drew the image, and I will try to remember to do that-they deserve so much recogniton for giving us such joy coloring and creating with their drawings! This image is by Pam West and can be found here. Papers are from (I believe) Su and the ds paper is from "the crafty stack" by dcwv. I must admit I am addicted to papers-that is by far the item I most search for when out and about craft shopping! Then I hate to use them!
