A NEW Squigglefly Challenge ....

How did your weekend go? Mine was great! We went to Yogi Bear Campgrounds and camped for the weekend! This year they even had CINDY BEAR there! My daughter Emily is hoping we get to go again  this summer-she loves it!!
We have a new challenge going on over on the  SQUIGGLEFLY CHALLENGE BLOG! This weeks challenge is: The Long and Short of it - make a card that uses something long and something short.  Could be a long piece of ribbon and short sentiment,  a long card with a short image or short piece of designer paper. We hope you will get the chance to join us!

Home is where the Heart is ... with The Cutting Cafe

Hi all!
Today I want to share a project that I have made with a file from THE CUTTING CAFE
called: WELCOME HOME-printable stamp set.
I have used craft paper for my frame, and white and red for my main focus colors. The Designer papers used  are from a new paper pad called: Tea for Two by Cosmo Cricket. I have added ribbon from SU and skittles from Carri over at Double Click Connections.
I printed the image out a couple times, in different sizes to get the middle heart. I added some twine and a button, along with some doodling, a sturdy cardboard stand for the back and there ya go!! A Cuter than Cute country style little framed pic to display in my craft room!

New Squigglefly Challenge day...Wrap it up...

For my FRESH BREWED DESIGNS post--go down to my previous post.

Hi all-I want to share a card with you today that I have made for the new Squigglefly challenge which starts today. The challenge is WRAP IT UP...SFC2313- use your imagination. Wrap ribbon or twine around a layer, wrap a die cut around a corner, use wrapping paper instead of designer scrapbook paper, use an image with a wrapped gift...
and here is the card I made using Squigglefly's digital image: FUZZ BUGS by artist Dawn Collins. This set comes with five different Fuzz Bugs--and they are all just so stinkin' cute!! Go on over to the Squigglefly store to check them and all the other awesome images out!! Digital is the easiest way to go!!

I have colored him up with my copics, used a button and floss-wrapped some ribbon around and used a few skittles from DoubleClick. oh, and a sentiment. I paper pieced the bow with some of the same DP used in the card...Cute, huh?!!

Happy Fathers Day with THE CUTTING CAFE

I have a super cute FATHERS DAY card to show you today---I made this card with a file called:
                   SHIRT AND TIE CUTTING FILE/TEMPLATE SHAPED CARDS
from THE CUTTING CAFE.
It was super easy to cut out by hand--and I had fun deciding what colors to put together, and decided on a pale yellow for the tie and hanky...it even comes with two different sentiments, so this could easily be used for a Happy Birthday for DAD as well!

The Cutting Cafe Baby Bottle Card

Hello all! This week at THE CUTTING CAFE, we were asked to use one of the Baby Bottle files. I have used Baby Bottle Shaped Card Template. I love it! It makes the cutest little Baby Bottle Card! It can even be made up as an invite with this file!!I used K&Company Brenda Walton Small Wonders paper pad for the designer papers.

Can't wait to get a few extra moments to make a whole set of cards and do the Bottle Treat Box to match!!  Thank You Regina, for such an awesome file!

CONGRATULATIONS!!

Hello! I have a couple of cards to share with you all today...
The first is the card I have made for my Son Cody--today is his Graduation Open House, and tomorrow is his Graduation Day! For this card I have used Noah Graduates - a digital image from Squigglefly.

                                                             
                                                    Congrats my dear SON-we are SO PROUD!!

Next up, I have a card that I have made as a Thank You to my Aunt and Uncle who graciously made lunch for us all this last week when we had to go to Grand Rapids for Emily's arm. The Dr. said Emily's arm is as good as it is most likely going to get, and we don't have to go back again, unless there is a problem!! HURRAY!!
I have used a digital from Fresh Brewed Designs for this card--the image is called Sweet Snail.

Well, I better get busy-I have lots to do yet!!
