wanna SF sneekie peekie?

Well, I won the challenge over at Squigglefly last week--and got to choose one of the images, or a surprise image. I loved several of the images in their last release, but I went for the surprise image. I LOVE this little gal--she is just SO ADORABLE!! So, I  can show a sneek peek, but I do have to let you know that she won't be available until this next Saturday. Her name is sweet girl--how appropriate!! She is drawn by Squigglefly's Paulette Long.And this charm is one that the talented Marlene sent me! Thanks again Marlene!

Bee Crafty Challenge

Hi all! I got a couple minutes today to make a card--this is a free image available over at BEE CRAFTY. They have a challenge going on to make an Easter Card/or Craft Item. I have used their free image for this card--isn't it an adorable image?!! I have used digital  DP's from Pink Petticoat, a few embellishments, and my SU corner punch. Hope you like it-I am off to put it away BEFORE I clean the stamp that I used for the sentiment! Heehee!!

Has this ever happened to you?

I am soooo bummed! I made this card yesterday-and then remembered my camcorders battery was dead, so I put the card up where I would normally take the pic and proceeded to clean my work desk up--which included cleaning several stamps my daughter and I had used! Well, I didn't notice until I went to take the pic---but while I had been cleaning my stamps-the water splattered and I ruined my card! I thought I would show it to you anyway--just try to ignore all the spots. I sure will be more careful next time!

For this card I used several files from THE CUTTING CAFE- the new CLOUD NESTING FRAMES, for a template, and the flowers from EASTER SET 2, and the sun from ONE SPRING DAY. I had watched a video in the last couple days of how to ink these clouds like this--and I am SO SORRY that I can not remember which blog--if anyone knows please let me know--so I can give credit where it is deserved!
I also used a Peachy Keen stamp for the face on the sun, and a SU stamp for the sentiment. Have a GREAT SUNDAY!

Ready for SPRING!!

 I got the chance to make several cards today--whoohoo! I am still trying to figure out how to use my camcorder for new camera--so please be patient with my picture quality! This first one I tried the same technique I had tried last night with the tissue paper over the image. The stamp I used is from one of my new SU stamp sets..very springlike..EASTER BLOSSOMS. I also added a few embellies-and inked up the edges.

The second one I have used a flower from of the newest set of files from THE CUTTING CAFE-One Spring Day, which features over 90 images!! Including the cute little sentiment I have used. I used an Su Butterfly punch and added some ebellies and ribbon to the card as well.

The third card I made today also uses files from THE CUTTING CAFE-EASTER SET 3 -for these three cute little chicks! Again using the Butterfly punch and also the frame punch for the sentiment-a few embellies and another spring like card!

I am entering this last one in the challenge over at Serenity Scrappers--which is to use at least two pastel colors. Make sure to check it out--there is a prize to be won!

FRESHLY BREWED DESIGNS CHALLENGE

Hi all! Today is another new challenge from our team over at FRESH BREWED DESIGNS-and this week the challenge is food orientated.
So, the image I have used today is: OLIVE YOU (I LOVE YOU). He is found in the FUN FOODS Section.
On the inside I used the sentiment that goes with this little guy-it says: OLIVE YOU

I have used my Make The Cut to cut this little fella out and made HIM the CARD!! Again-please forgive the photo--my camera went kapoot on me!! Let me know what you think!

Squigglefly challenge

The Squigglefly challenge this week was to make a card with homemade patterned papers.

I tried....am not happy with the results-but will have to give it another try. I used the image Dandelion, and put several of the images on my work processor-I then printed it out and colored it a little bit--then covered with tissue paper. My tissue paper did not stick as well as it should have--because my ink was starting to smear with the glue--so I used too little of it--thus the reason I will have to try it again someday! Next time I will allow time for my ink to dry completely before I use the glue. The other image is also from Squigglefly--and is Make a Wish. She is one of my fav's---it is so hard not to have lots and lots of fav's with all the great images SF has!! Thanks for the great challenge gals--I wouldn't have tried this other-wise!!

Cutting Cafe Apple card with sentiments from Marlene

I am sorry about the poor picture quality of my card today--my regular camera will suddenly not work! I think it is actually the disk- I have had it for about 7/8 years, and it keeps saying it needs to be formatted, but my computer keeps telling me it can't format it!! So I have had to use a camera I am not sure how to work! I have made this card with files from THE CUTTING CAFE-Apple shaped Card--isn't this apple yummy!!?!! I have also used sentiments that were FREE from MARLENE! I hope to be back later with better pics!  OH-and here is the inside!
