I am sooo bummed! I made a card I was really proud of this morning for my Mother and I forgot to photo it before I sent it off with my daughter to go to Grandmas house!!! Ughh!!!!!

magnolia/stampavie challenge

This weeks challenge (#4) is to get as much texture as possible in your card.

I have made my card using a couple of my new tilda stamps! I purchase all my tildas from a wonderful gal over in hawaii-Summer at http://rosesonpaper.com/ she has an online store full of goodies and she is adding more all of the time!! Go check it out!

I have embossed-added cotton for snow, ribbon, stickles and also some cut outs from the cricut machine. The scallop oval is courtesy of Okie-thanks Okie for all the time invested in the downloads you allow us to use!

itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini

Hi Y'all!! Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! I have just finished my card made from one of the images that will soon be available from: http://www.squigglefly.com/ ! What fun! I have colored this beach beauty giving her a yellow polka dot bikini! I have decided she is really chic and I gave her a matching blue stone for her belly button! Thanks for all the fun Holly and girls!

homemade ribbon holder

well, I went to the grand opening of Joanne fabrics tonight and when asking one of the helpers if they carried ribbon holders-she then told me I could make one from a shoe box! So that is what I've done! Pretty excited about this - so hoping it works! (I'm afraid the ribbons are going to get twisted and caught-but time will tell)!! I used just a regular shoe box that can be opened for easy access. I have covered the front of the box in papers from SU- it's called bella rose. And a hanger for the holder for the ribbons to go on inside. What do you think?

Hi! This card I have made using Holly's daughters images! It is so cool- her and her sister are starting up a website: http://www.squigglefly.com/ real soon! On this website you will be able to download images that you can then color and use for your cards, or other craft ideas!! Isn't that so cool!!!?!!!! I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of these ahead of time-and here it is! I have just printed this on regular printing paper-can u beleive how easy that was?!!

all I can say is it must run in the family- genious I think!!!! Thanks gals!!

tilda atc card

Ok this week over at tilda atc challenge the challenge is to decorate. This weeks atc did not need to have a cute little face - so I have used the mognolia fir branch stamp. I have also tried to emboss a couple of snowflakes, but the embossing powder wasn't sticking very well- by the time I got the powder blown off from all around the area where I didn't want it! Any solutions to this problem? Please let me know!! I also have added a snowflake button to my atc as well.

A birthday card for my Mother-in-law

Well, what do you think? I have made this card for my husbands mother's birthday. I used the water color pencils that I got this weekend for the first time. I know I am really horrible at the pic taking- but the sentiment says-"It's raining love and birthday wishes".

Ok- so after I figured out how to work out random.org--THANK YOU HOLLY!!---I realized I hadn't caught part of what Holly had said-which was to tell it to pick one number!! (at first I put in 54 as there were 55 listed , but one was deleted...) Well it picked 54 #'s, (duh, that's what i told it to do!! : ( )and I was thinking -well, that didn't work-it didn't pick a number!!! So I went back and read Holly's instruction again, and I catch it this time.... put in for it to pick ONE number... and whallaaaa-that is what it did!! : )
