sweet nothings bag/house mouse redo

just wanted to show you a bag I made last night from a tutorial found here:http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/boxinabag

I accidentally made the box too big and so my papers didn't fit quite right, but I will do better next time-I have learned from my mistake!!! I will be back later to tell you some really neat news on a new site to help out kids-so stay tuned....

also, i have redone the sentiment on my previoius card as I see the photo showed it looked a little too "dirtied" don't know what else to call it-what I mean is the edges that I inked up-it looked too much-is this better?

yep, three cards tonight-whooohooo!!! here is a card i have made for my hubbies brother. i have used edwin -but replaced his bartending glasses with a cupcake instead. i have used stamping up papers and the cupcake comes from the darling dots set(su)-which i stamped and cut out. sentiment is from the goody goody gumdrops set (su).

I have had time to do two cards tonight! I have had so much fun! I had this image in my box of goodies-must have been from a swap or blog candy- I am not sure, but I think it is a gorgeous image, and I have used new su papers called sweet nothings. I have added a ribon (from a pack made by making memories) which i put brads in the middle of each flower. I used the scallop punch and made the circle into a flower by cutting inbetween each scallop. the butterfly is from a k&c co. embellishment pack.

I am really happy with this one, hope you like it?! sorry photo is so dark looking.

funny card for my friends birthday

we are really good friends, so she won't take offense to this card-I thought it was a sorta cute sentiment....do you think it's funny or rude? i hope to get some second opinions before i give it to her tomorrow. ***oops i see there is a fuzzy on the photo-no worries, it is not really on the card!!!***

I have made this card using the new set I got yesterday-cheap talk-aren't these little birdies just so cute!!! I have used the square scallop for behind the three birdies. I have used the circle scallop for the flower with a button for the middle. The sentiment also comes in the set! Thank you for looking!

the missing valentine card re-appears

I had wanted to take a photo of the card i made for my hubby for valentines-and then it couldn't be found!! I was afraid it had gotten thrown away with scraps off the table or something, but I found it today!! so before it ends up missing again-here is the photo! He loves playing guitar hero-so I figured the guitar would be a cute idea.

My hubby has been busy again-he sure is a keeper!!

Lookie at my new storage! He has added peg board on the walls under my shelf and made little shelves to hold my stamps-I am soooo excited-now I can actually see what stamps i have-instead of sorting through piles or the bucket that I had my stamps in!

What do you think? if anyone has any ideas on how to organize it better-feel free to let me in on it!!! : ) tfl!!

I made something!

Wow! I actually had time to make something! I made a card for someone who helps us out at work sometimes-he and his wife had a baby boy recently.

I also TRIED to make a little book for my daughters roommate in college for valentines- I did the modge podge thing (which scared me totally) at first it was all bubbly, and looked horrible-but then when it dried it looked much better. I obviously need to watch the video which came with the zutter, as I really messed up when putting the holes in the book for the wires to go through! And somehow I ended up with the papers sticking up over the edge of the book too!!! Well, maybe I will make my daughters now, and hopefully practice makes perfect! (although I am gonna need a lot of it!)

Also my 17 year old made several valentines, and hers are in the bottom photo-she did a great job, huh?!!
