Blog candy....Updated with more candy!!

It has been a while since I have had blog candy....so since my birthday is right around the corner- I thought I would put up some blog candy.....all you have to do to be in the running for it is: be a follower, and comment on this entry!! Squigglefly Challenge #3....CAS

Hi all!! I had a great weekend--I hope you all did too! My son and his fiance (Cody and Brianna) took us all out to the movie and dinner on Sunday afternoon! What a nice way to enjoy the weekend....all my family was able to be there, what a treat!!
It is time once again for a new challenge over on the SQUIGGLEFLY CHALLENGE BLOG! This weeks challenge is CAS...how easy peasy is that?!! I have used part of a digital image from the SQUIGGLEFLY STORE, set:  FLOWERS AND SENTIMENTS by artist Elizabeta Kushner.

Here is what I have made up for the photo inspiration....

I cut this out with my Cricut-added a bow, a couple of hearts, and this cute little coffee cup from Fresh Brewed Designs-I used it as a digital image, but it is now available as a red rubber stamp--called LATTE LOVE.

Squigglefly Challenge #1 for 2014....Embossing

Hi all! Happy New Year to you, I hope you enjoyed your holidays!! Today marks the day that we announce our first challenge of the year over on the SQUIGGLEFLY CHALLENGE BLOG! I though it would be great to do a THANK YOU for someone (maybe for those wonderful crafty items you got for Christmas) and as an added challenge ADD: EMBOSSING-it is a technique that I don't do often enough! You can either emboss your papers or do some actual embossing with powders and your heat gun....

I decided to get out my embossing powders and heat gun....I have used a new image available from SQUIGGLEFLY called SACHET BAGS by artist Pamela Lehto, and used the Sachet bag with Rose. I printed and cut this out-and then actually put ribbon through the printed lines, added lots of gems and popped up the rose by cutting it out again and attaching to the Sachet bag.

 Happy New Year!
 Today starts a new challenge over at THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE CHALLENGE BLOG....it is to use 3 designer papers on your card/layout or project. I have made my card using THE STAMPING BOUTIQUE's image: Pocket Patootie Sunshine...isn't it just gorgeous and fun?!!! I have used papers from Colorbok's Beach House papers.

I would also like to enter this card into the challenge going on over at the Desert Island Craft Challenges. I have used: #8-three layers, #10-distressing,#2- ribbon (I even used three ribbons-although it is hard to see), and #9- pocket (my image).

I also wanted to enter this into the Sunday Sketch and Stamp--Use any past Sketch---so I used Sketch #158.

Everything is DUCKY for the New Year....

Heehee!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
I just love the file that I have used for today's card....it is from THE CUTTING CAFE and is called: Duck Shaped Card Invite Set.
This sadly is my last post for THE CUTTING CAFE for this term....but, we got to pick what file we wanted to use-and I picked this adorable file which is perfect for making invites, although I didn't use it as a invite, I made it as a baby card. This was so simple to cut out-only a few pieces! I added a ribbon and google eye-and some doodling.....so easy, peasy!! (AND SO CUTE)
