A card A card!!!

Hurray! I finally had a few moments to myself to make a card! It has been an extremely busy week-and I don't like weeks like this! I am so excited that I got to make a card-the image is of course from Squigglefly!! You can find it here !!! Isn't this the cutest little image, this one I cut out the little outfits and popped them up to add some dimension! I colored with copics and used papers from Debbie Mumm and cardstock from SU. I added a couple little clothespins for an extra little touch. Did you know you can check out what images each artist has drawn? This one you will find under artist Tracey Malnofski!! Thank You card-What a great couple!!!

Well, today I went to my daughter Brittanys (about an hour away from home), we went shopping and then went to eat lunch-we got out of the van and heard this loud noise! All the air was coming out of the tire!!! The same tire I just had fixed three days ago! When we got finished with lunch, we went out to work on the tire-of course I have no idea how to make the jack thing work! Luck was with us as a couple in dressy clothes came up to the car behind us--mind you --a super nice car--and so I figured there was no way they would offer to help!! Just goes to show that you can't judge people by the way they look-as they came and changed the tire-and the gal (who was wearing a WHITE skirt-yes, WHITE skirt) even insisted on helping me get the tire into the back of the van while the gentleman finished tightening up the lug nuts(I think that is what they are called!). I was even more surprised when I found out that he owns a ford dealership in a town about 10-15 minutes away from my home!! So, that is my good story of the day-it is nice to know there are a few good old fashioned people out there still!! I have made this thank you for them.

Thought it would be a neat card as Traverse City is a big Cherry town-and that is where he helped change the tire. I actually used two squigglefly images for this one!! Check out all the awesome images here! And don't forget to come back tomorrow to check out the challenge for SQUIGGLEFLY!!

Squigglefly challenge 11 and some Christmas cards

Hi everyone, I feel like I am so far behind! Well, I finally got my challenge card done for this week-I am not totally sure it fits the WHOLE description, but I will show it anyways! It was Kims week to pick the challenge and it was supposed to be gender nuetral and use purple papers. You can see all the wonderful DT members cards here. I think mine turned out pretty girly in the end. I used two images, the rattles are from the babypak and then the rocking horse. You can find these and tons more images here.

Hi Yall!!

Well, I have made myself something! I have a super special blogger friend send me some images (Thanks so much Holly!!) that I had told her I thought were so adorable!!! Well, the next thing I knew, some of those exact images showed up in my mailbox one day!!! As soon as I had seen this image, I wanted it! It is the Shy Bear diet image---how adorable is this???!!!

Well, probably not manyof you know (but you do now) that I have been dieting-and so I made up one of those super cute images to put up on my fridge! I figure (or hope) it will remind me to be careful what I choose to take out of the fridge!! Wish me luck!!! Anyone else out there dieting? I would love to hear from you, sometimes that is all it takes, is to talk to someone else and get excited about something like dieting all over again!! Or when you are having a bad day, just a kind "stick with it" is a great thing to hear! Thanks for stopping by!!

More Christmas Cards!

whoohooo! I am excited to do more christmas cards! Although these aren't getting me ahead at all, as they are for a benefit for a gentleman down the road who has cancer. I will be making more as it will be a set of 10 when I am finished. But thought I would show you the first three. This gorgeous little image is from-yes-Squigglefly!! My first Christmas card for the season!!

Hello! Wow-I really have started my christmas cards!! Thanks to Holly and Nessy for the inspiration to do so!!

wanna laugh???

Ok-I just got some watercolor crayons-I have never used them before-I need to read up and see how they are really supposed to be used, cuz I sure didn't do them justice!!! I was trying to do my card for the challenge I missed last week-which was to do a one layer card, and add one embellishment. This is a pretty pathetic looking card-but honestly-this image itself is adorable!!! I will have to make another card with this image using my copics so you can see how adorable it really is! Crystals dump truck

How cute is this little dump truck!!!Of course it is from Squigglefly-found HERE. What a super card for a little boy or little girl who is into trucks instead of Barbies!!! My copics are already out in the camper ready to go on vacation, so I used my sharpies on this. Cardstock is SU and ds paper is DCWV-all about boys stack. I have to be without my computer for a couple of days, so I won't be able to visit any of you!! : (

I hope to catch up with all of you early next week though! Have a HAPPY 4th of JULY!!! BYEEEEEEEEEEEE-I'll miss you all terribly!

I have used papers from the sweet stack by DCWV and some SU cardstock-a brad from SU that you can build yourself, flowers from stash-SU ribbon-this is one of the new colors-Dusty Durango! Sentiment done on my computer, and I have colored her with my copics..

For my 2nd card:

I have used another adorable image for this one!!! This one is called "Catch of the day" and I used that in my sentiment-made on my computer also. I have also colored him with my copics. I have SU papers and another from

the green stack by DCWV. Su ribbon and my Su punches for the sentiment boxes on the front of the card.
