Question for you all....would love to hear what you think...

Ok, so my hubby has decided to make some doll furniture to sell. He made my daughter several different items for Christmas--this doll furniture is made to the size to fit with American Girl dolls (18 inch)...He has made an Adirondacks chair set and I am wondering what you think would be a good/fair price to ask. He is funny - worries about asking too much, so would just love to hear your opinions!

Here is an example of my daughters doll sitting in the chair...that is one of the dresses I made for her dolly for Christmas...(I didn't make the shirt underneath though-I need lots more practice before I can even attempt to think of making something like that!)

He has decided to not finish them, as folks may want them a certain color...thought we might offer to paint them for an extra amount?
Thanks for any advice you would like to offer! Rhonda

I honestly think that $30. - $50. for both pieces would be a fair price and then charge another $5. - $7. to paint them in their colour choice. I bought a rocking cradle for my daughter's doll a long, long time ago that also came with bedding. I knit a blanket for it and also crochet a blanket for it. My daughter is now married with 3 little girls of her own and when the oldest was almost 2, my husband repainted the cradle and his sister made bedding for it as well - she even made a beautiful quilt for it. The only part we left unpainted was the area where my daughter had printed her name when she was very young. I'm happy to say that all 3 of my granddaughters have played with the cradle. As far as I'm concerned, the cradle now is priceless and I am hoping that it will be passed down to my great granddaughters if I am lucky enough to have them. My granddaughters are aged 7, 5 and 2.
