Skittle, button, and Ink organization...

This is so simple, but I am quite pleased with it. My hubby made the holder out of some scrap pieces of wood. The containers are some baby food containers that I washed and saved up from the daycare kiddo's. I used my Dymo to label the colors in each container. And a bonus was finding out that my Tim Holtz Distress Inks fit in there perfectly as well-so I labeled those up too!!

I also have organized my buttons by colors, in hopes that I will actually use them- if they are out where I can see them! I have some more coming, after I got them in the jars there weren't near as many as I thought I had!!

I have also tried to de-clutter my craft room a little, in hopes that I may have some time this week to make some cards and projects. Now if I could just figure out to do with all these scraps of paper that I have--I do not seem disciplined enough to make myself use them up--I have at least 11 bags and a drawer full of them---if you have ideas --Please...let me know!!
Have a great week!
Rhonda

Great idea! I have been meaning to label stuff up for ages, I need more inkpad storage though.

Great job getting those little elements organized! One thing that might make it even easier is to color the label with the color so you can see it at a glance! I hope you find time to play this week and I really hope you are feeling better and stay well!

Love your organizer! It truly does work to have stuff out where it can be seen = used. Scraps, too, can be organized by color and then stored in a way that makes sense to you. I had to be ruthless, positively ruthless, to get that done and throw away pieces that I knew in my heart I would never use. Oh the pain!! But it was worth it. I now file my scraps by color in file folder and when I need a certain color it is easy to get to and i have forced myself to file away the scraps from a project at the end of my crafting sessions. Oh, and I now only save a certain size--- I ashamed to tell you what I used to save ;-)
